Areas of Interest:
-Proximal/Remote Sensing
-Chemical Ecology
-Plant~Microbe Interactions
-National Security & Disaster Response
Who Am I:
Hey I’m Jack, a plant-microbe biologist with a passion for understanding complex environmental interactions, mainly through their chemicals. I have experience working in a variety of different fields, but my main research interests are in chemical ecology, plant-microbe interactions, chemical detection, and remote sensing applications. I am passionate about research focusing on ecological monitoring, national security, forensic science, and crisis response, with an applied approach through much of the work I have done. Further, I am a current DoD SMART Scholar in the intelligence community working in research & development for biochemical sensing.
